About

Katie Gilmour
A seasoned professional dedicated to helping you achieve more with ease, balance, and precision.
Hi, I'm Katie.
My path into business support didn’t start in an office—it began in places where you learn to stay steady, read a situation quickly, and show up with quiet determination. Growing surrounded by animals—especially horses—I learned responsibility, routine, and patience at a young age. Those early lessons shape how I work today: grounded, adaptable, and focused on the people and businesses relying on me.
My love of adventure and connection has taken me far beyond home. I spent two years living in the Northern Territory, where the vast Outback and the warmth of remote Aboriginal communities taught me more about resilience, culture, and perspective than any classroom could. That chapter deepened my appreciation for meaningful, supportive work.
Professional Experience
I spent over a decade in the Veterinary Industry, working in nursing, management, and business operations across GP, ECC, Shelter, and remote community settings. I’ve supported small and large teams, managed multi-site operations, and helped businesses grow through strong systems, structure, and people-focused leadership. I’m known for bringing innovative thinking and calm to fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
I’ve since expanded into the private and public sectors, working across frontline operations and management within state and local government. These experiences strengthened my skills in communication, problem-solving, process improvement, and operational leadership. I bring a balanced blend of experience, reliability, and genuine understanding to every client relationship.
Where life has taken me now
I live in the South Burnett region of SE Queensland on six acres with my fiancé and three daughters. Our home—a 1930s Queenslander we’re lovingly restoring—sits at the centre of a life filled with animals, creativity, and the kind of organised chaos that comes with raising a family. Outside work, you’ll find me crafting, tending to our land, or planning the next stage of our renovation.
